Patricia delivered the file hours ahead of the deadline. Her translation was accurate with no errors. Great communication and a joy to work with! She did a wonderful job. We just reviewed the first translation and it looks great. We would like to thank you for your hard work, it is greatly appreciated.

Starting in September 2006, Patricia has provided translation services for the Project for the Control of Invasive Species in the Galapagos Islands, mainly from Spanish into English. We are quite happy with the work she has carried out until now.

We have been working with Patricia since October 2005 in a wide variety of projects, from software localization to business contracts, human resources materials, and technical documents for several industries including the chemical Industry. She is a very professional linguist, who is always willing to go the extra mile to deliver a quality product on time —if not days before the deadline. She has been our #1 choice for the EN>ES language pair and the volume of work we've been receiving from our end-clients and forwarding to her has been increasing lately, since it's really easy and pleasant to work with her.
Thank you for everything, Patricia!

We have used Patricia’s translation services on a number of projects and have always been very pleased with her work, staring in 2003. She has provided us with high-quality Spanish translations and delivered her files with excellent turnaround time. Patricia is careful about the translation process, asking questions where a phrase or sentence may be unclear.
Her approach to each project is very professional and she takes great care to meet deadlines. We have relied on her to handle Spanish translations for our in-house projects as well as for projects relating to our most important clients. Patricia has always done an outstanding job for us. I would recommend her to anyone seeking a dedicated translator who provides quality service.

I just wanted to send a quick thank you for how well the translation of the MET manual was done. I don't speak Spanish, so I can't comment on the content, but the formatting is marvelous. Often we receive translated documents from the field that are in crazy software, don't follow the same format, are incomplete, etc. So, please give a big thank you to whoever translated this for us – it was done with quality and excellence, and I greatly appreciate it!

Word Awareness and Zervaas Enterprises team up to translate Transit Timesᅠapp
California translation company and Australian app developer make public transport timetables available in Spanish for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad
Originally conceived and programmed in English, Transit Times uses an open data feed called General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) provided by each featured city in order to coordinate information on buses, trains, subways, trams, and ferries.
So far Transit Times is available in Adelaide and Perth in Australia, Auckland and Wellington in New Zealand, Philadelphia, Miami and Austin in the United States, and Vancouver in Canada. More cities will be added from time to time.
“Our Spanish translator Patricia Fierro was in charge of this project, since this is her specialty area,” says Word Awareness President and CEO Rafa Lombardino. “She has a Master's Degree in Computer Sciences that, combined with her certified language skills, allows her to translate program interfaces and websites easily to address the Spanish-speaking audience. In other words, having a background in programming herself, she can assure that the message is translated clearly and the coding is left untouched.”
Word Awareness has provided translations for other apps, including mobile games and language-learning programs that use flashcards and audio for vocabulary memorization.
About Transit Times
Transit Times was developed and is maintained by Zervaas Enterprises, an Australia company dedicated to developing applications to Apple products. Visit the app page or Twitter feed to follow development and new feature updates.
